The hotel

Twenty-four individually decorated rooms behind a Georgian townhouse facade just off Park Lane, with a chauffeur desk in the lobby that feels like it's never stopped running since the 1960s. Rooms lean traditional — panelled walls, heavy curtains, marble bathrooms — rather than minimalist.

The gaming floor

A private members' gaming room on the lower ground floor: blackjack, roulette and a handful of poker tables, open into the small hours. It's a genuinely separate space from the hotel itself, with its own late licence and its own door staff.

Getting there by train

Any London mainline terminus connects via the Underground — Green Park or Hyde Park Corner is the closest stop, about an 8-minute walk through Mayfair's quiet residential streets.

Good to know

Smart-casual is the minimum in the gaming room after 7pm, and 18+ photo ID is required at that door regardless of hotel check-in age. Weekday evenings are noticeably quieter than Friday and Saturday.
